What is a portable dance floor?  A portable dance floor is a modular flooring system specifically designed for temporary dance spaces. These floors are easy to install, dismantle, and transport, making them ideal for events such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions. You can also do a smaller tent fully floored.  Anything larger needs a built floor and a subfloor installed.

Why should I rent a portable dance floor? Renting a portable dance floor provides a convenient and stylish solution for creating dance spaces at events. These floors are versatile, can be installed on various surfaces, and enhance the overall atmosphere of your event.

What sizes are available for portable dance floors? Portable dance floors come in various sizes to accommodate different event spaces. Here is a general size chart:

• Small Events (up to 50 guests): 12′ x 12′ or 15′ x 15′
• Medium Events (50-100 guests): 16′ x 16′ or 18′ x 18′
• Large Events (100-200 guests): 20′ x 20′ or 24′ x 24′
• Extra Large Events (200+ guests): Custom sizes available upon request

How do I choose the right size for my event? Consider the number of guests and the available space at your venue. It’s essential to provide enough room for dancing while ensuring the dance floor fits comfortably within the overall layout of your event.

Can I install a portable dance floor on any surface? Portable dance floors are versatile and can be installed on various surfaces, including grass, concrete, carpet, or tile. However, a flat and level surface is recommended for the best performance.

Is there a specific maintenance requirement for portable dance floors?  Avoid dragging heavy or sharp objects to prevent damage to the floor.  If cleaning is required use a mild cleaner like simple green or simply water to rinse the top.  Do not submerge or use enough water to warp.

Can the dance floor be used outdoors? Yes, portable dance floors are suitable for outdoor use. However, it’s important to ensure the outdoor surface is level and stable to achieve the best results. Grass with slopes or divets may need to be filled.  Also a tarp may need to be added or a subfloor. It MUST be under a tent or arrangement to cover it MUST be made.  Allowing it to be exposed to the elements is not advised as floors can warp and damage.  It’s best to discuss an outdoor option with us so we can provide the right presentation for your event.

How far in advance should I book a portable dance floor for my event?  It is recommended to book your portable dance floor well in advance, especially during peak event seasons. Booking at least a few weeks before your event date ensures availability.
